Union Sportsmen Alliance Trap Shoot 2024
This year’s edition of the Union Sportsmen Alliance trap shoot will be August 24. As always, Local 7 members are invited to participate and we anticipate having as strong a presence as ever at the event.
North America’s largest constituency of sportsmen and sportswomen
The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) boasts more than six million active and retired union members who hunt, fish, or shoot, and as a union-operated, union-dedicated, 501(c)(3) conservation organization, the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) takes pride in uniting these millions of union sportsmen and sportswomen.
Bringing Union Members Together
With events spanning the entire continental United States, these shoots help raise vital funds for the USA while bringing union members, contractors, and friends together to become one community under a collective commitment to educate future generations of sportspeople. The USA also promotes the conservation of healthy wildlife habitats and volunteers dedicate their invaluable time and skills to contribute to projects that improve access to high quality locations for hunting, fishing, and shooting.

USA conservation efforts, shoots, and other events each play a role in connecting union members both socially and in terms of their personal lifestyle to nurture solidarity through adventures in the great outdoors. Preserving the outdoor way of life that defines North America is paramount and allows those participating to enjoy fun events and gatherings safe in the knowledge that they’re contributing to part of what makes this country so wonderful.
